Been playing around with different textures and came up with this. Turquoise and white like my (broken) bike at home. However, this one is not being held together with string from a kite…
3 boats…
A card I designed for the arrival of my new baby neice, she’s a beaut!
Some of my illustrations in Issue 6 of Novel Magazine, nice guys, even bought me a drink on my birthday!
Distributed for free in tons of galleries, tea shops, clothes shops, libraries in the north east or read it online here.
Bicycle.
This Sunday sees a crafty competition collaboration of two good buddies of mine, Spinster’s Emporium and Merrimaking.
I have first hand experience of the glittery gloriousness that is the Craft Off as I entered the very first one when living in Nottingham.
So bring a team or yourself and come down to Malt Cross, Nottingham for a night of competitive crafting, live music, dancing, drinks and general ridiculousness.
And with prizes including Spinster’s Emporium goodies, home-baked cakes, Twisted Heart Club tickets and not to mention Merrimaking animal hoods, what better theme than the jungle!
So paintbrushes ready, sticky-tape steady and off you glittery go!
p.s. poster designed by me!
Wooden buildings.
These are the long-awaited drawings I made for ‘Grow’, an exhibition I made work for, in Gateshead at the beginning of the year. They are all based on drawings and studies I did when I visited the traditional wooden boat-builders at the North East Maritime Trust.
